I don't derive any sort of satisfaction from reporting the death of the Zhang Shuhong, the owner of Lee Der Industrial Company, which makes toys for Mattel. Shuhong apparently hung himself over the weekend. You'll recall that Mattel had to recall about a million toys because they had lead paint. You'll also recall that last month the Chinese government executed Zheng Xiaoyu, who was in charge of food safety, for corruption. I wonder if Shuhong feared a similar fate.
